The Resurrection of Christ is the only meaning of life. There is no other meaning, there is no other truth outside of Christ and His resurrection. Without Christ, this life is in vain. That is why Christ should be the center of our life, and His resurrection a major event. May our whole life be in His Resurrection.
What does that mean?
It means, to always love the Lord with all our heart, with all our strength, with all our mind, and our neighbour as ourselves. Because the resurrection of Christ is nothing but the seal of His love and the triumph of love, the victory of life over death.
That is the actual paradise. Eternal life in eternal joy and eternal love. Where there is not even a shadow of suffering, nor pain, nor sorrow, but only joy, freedom and love. That is the actual joy of the resurrection, that is the joy of living in Christ, that is the joy of living with one another. Everything else is hell, darkness, slavery and death. For such it is still the Old Testament and for them Christ has not yet risen.
Let us transfigure our lives and carry the light of Christ’s Resurrection in us. Let us love Christ with all our heart and live according to Him. In this way we participate in His resurrection and are alive. Let us strive to live in such a way that we always have the light of His resurrection in our hearts, in our minds, in our lives, in our homes. Wherever we go, may that full of grace and life-giving force always shine in us and may we spread it in the world.
